the 75 shot with Keith on bass is by Bob Gruen - and yes Eric Clapton was on stage at the time, but ... :E
the 83 shot with Tina and David is Bob Gruen's too.

My personal favourite is this one of Keith from Rolling Stone magazine, taken during the 1975 TOTA. As far as I know, it didn't make it into any books or publications of the Rolling Stones, though I'd be more than happy to be proved wrong!

and i don't remember where i know that photo from, sorry - in the magazine certainly,
but it might be in some book too. if i locate it i'll let you know.

With Sssoul, maybe I'm wrong, but I think I can recall seeing that photo in the David Dalton book ("The first 20 years").
But I don't have the book any longer...so I can't check it out, I'm afraid.

Erik - I have the First 20 Years and it's not in there. I don't remember seeing that photo before. I would really embarrassed if you find it in there, but I feel pretty confident, I've looked at that book a million times.

Just looked myself Erik, and it's not in there! Neither is it in the Leibovitz/Sykes/Jagger book on the 1975 Tour.

I thank God I hung on to all of my old scrapbooks!

Hey CindyC.....I don't pretend to know everything about Keith or about olfactory anatomy but....was his nose also reconstructed due to his cocaine abuse? destroyed his nasal septum....?

Also.....because of your admiration for Keith (& his physical appearance) do you tend to date/marry guys that look like Keith? Just curious. Too personl? sorry.

yeah, that one's Lynn, Open G honey. she tells a great story about that shoot:
Keith was smokin spliffs and drinking beer and Jack, showin no effects from it -
but Lynn - who hadn't touched any substances at all - passed out in the bathroom.
she said afterwards: "i didn't realize breathing the same air as Keith was so dangerous!" :E

not sure but I thought i read the stuff up keith's nasal septum in the tony sanchez book..."up & down"....but i believe the story CindyC sited too.
