Anyone know the deal on why Keith wears those greyish sneaker-like shoes with the lame thin sole?
Mick and Ronnie wear these nice new running shoes with a big air-cushioned heals, and Keith keeps wearing these shoes that look like the same pair that he wore on the '81 tour. Whats the deal on these, does he get them custom made? I can't help but think Mick and Woody try to get him to wear the new ones but he refuses.

they give his collection of shades a run for their money.
(Mick on the other hand goes for bizarre socks - ahem: on his feet, i mean.)

Keith's footwear on the 81 tour was pretty famously not a pair of greyish sneakers.
legend has it that he gave those boots to Bill Graham at the end of the tour.

Well from personal experience breaking in
new boots and shoes is a real pain.....plus they look "poofie" when new...

"Here Johnny babe bust these leathers for me....better you look like a right poof for a week or two....AAhhhh HHHaa Arrrr"

You found them SSSoul! the '89 space shoes! I think those are the same ones he was wearing at the LA Dodger Stadium show I just saw.They look similiar, just a lot more beat down.

No - nothing like that! Dr. Martens are those cloddy type things. Don't know if Keith's were Dr. M's but they were similar.
