Hi All,

If anything, that was even more enjoyable than Glasgow...not sure why,but it was a

great night from the 4th row in A3,and beside the B-stage too!

WARNING: these pictures contain scenes involving dodgy millinery AND carpet laying-you've been

warned...

,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

That's yer lot...good night and see you next year?

Excellent photos! The hats are are good additions. Jagger looks good in red in the rain, and the hat fits Keith and Ron too. Wish Keith would keep wearing it. The lasr shot of him playing the blond hollowbody is especially good.
Ron seems to be playing new guitars. Also ion hollowbody but then on a SG!

Great photos. Keith looks awesome in the first few shots without the hat, kinda like the steel wheels era with the hair and the black jacket, especially the 4th photo.

these are great shots - it looks like mick is looking at you in a couple of them. i love the hats too.

i can't believe it rained so hard there - i saw them in sheffield in '99 and it rained hard there too!! but at that show, mick was the only one to dress in a hat and trenchcoat. he got drenched anyway.

i love the way they go on with the show with such inclement weather. i remember in 1986, an REM show in berkeley, ca (greek theater) was rescheduled to the colisseum arena half a week later because of rain. not an equal trade.

Excellent shots, just what was needed the morning after.
That was a great show, more fun at the front than Twickenham 1 I thought, but no doubt I will be corrected.
What was the source of Mick's Sheff U banter? And me a Wednesdayite :-(
And the comment about tracksuits in the town centre.....was he taking the p1ss?

So, that's 2 good Sheffield shows in the rain :-)

Oily.

PS The yellow-jacket security was b0llox, far too heavy handed.

Love the rain shots at the B-stage, were they playing GOMC at the time?

Would love to hear Rain Fall Down at such a moment.

was an excellent evening - the rain couldn't dampen the spirits , the band played very well, ans the sound, where i was (D block) was of a high quality.
..a memorable night.

The sound and mix were wonderful. The rain was wet...but didn't put the fires out ;^).
Excellent gig ! Any set list will do when the gig's this much fun.

Just trying to follow your shining example, Vilhelm!!

PS - For those going to Bergen and Horsens, watch out for Vilhelm if they play Midnight Rambler. Now there's a fan who really shows his true appreciation of a song with no holds barred....

I like it, I like it - yes I doooo!!

I don't think I have ever seen Wood play a Gibson SG, nor a Gibson ES-330!

Great pics - thanks all.

Seeing Mick w/guitar strapped across a trench coat is a strange sight! The hat show is quite different. Looks like a really fun show.

Brilliant* pictures Paulywaul - thanks for posting Gazza.

now do our IORR protagonists know they are beeing displayed on the board?
I mean Cindy,Rockman and Erik - 'cause they're a long way from home. hehe - no chance, eh.

looks like a bunch of good time you all had, despite the rain.
But usualy the sound travels better in wet weather.
