how do you tattoo an autograph? Are you expecting them to sign your wrists with a needle?

Because in most cases peolple regret that they have tattoes, I don't have any probaly because al my friends around me didn't have any. I did try to keep my kids free of it, only my eldest daughter has a little stones tongue on here belly (the picture is on an old topic soemwhere).

And I think it's depend on your job on this moment I teach sometimes and I'm glad I can use short sleeves.

And if, keep it small.

But who am I.

I went through a period when i regretted my tattoo, but now i dont care and even thinking of having the tongue tattoo, must be a brum thing?

I keep mine covered up at work as I have to wear formal business attire.

From a personal point of view I feel that a tatoo is a personal statement. Having to be soberly dressed at work leads me down the "I might look normal but underneath I'm a rocker at heart" route. It enables me to retain a level of individualism in a grey suit!

The lapping tongue always attracts attention and my wife loves it!

My plan is to get all 4 of them to autograph a piece of paper. When I got the signatures I will go to the tattoo man and make him draw the autographs on me.

Left wrist - Mick
Right wrist - Keith
Left angle - Charlie
Right angle - Ronnie

Just underneath each tattoo I will tattoo in roman numbers the date of the signing...3 dot 9 doy 6.......my meet n' greet with the stones is September 3rd 2006..

Michrud,

I have to say, I'm not crazy about the autograph idea.

Have had the tongue on my left shoulder for 16 years now. I even had it touched up once. I`m proud of it!

Lip'n tongue on my right shoulderblade. Didn't hurt a bit. Felt quite a sensation when I had it done. By a Hell's Angel hunk in Oslo, Norway.

It`s always great to have the tattoo when I travel to see the Stones. Whenever I meet someone else who has it: Big smile. It`s almost like family.

Not family, more tribal! But yes, it's a bonding element. Only people who are dead serious about the Stones will get a tattoo. I'd been a fan for 38 years when I got mine. At that time I realised that this was a life long relationship, and that I'd not regret a tattoo in the future. Some friends paid for the work - birthday present. It's 5 years old now, and still looks great, according to other people who also have Stones-tattoos.

i heard tatoos around the feet and ankles are very painful! i kind of like the idea. very original, which is a must with tatoos.

so without naming connection names, how does one get to attend a meet and greet?
