So to me, it appears a bit like a tribute to Sam Cooke and they do it very well. Summa this I didn't know of but I studied the older R 'N' R and I think some of it is the best.
What a tragedy.
Twistin' the night away, Chain Gang, a lot of big songs. Back on the Chaingang by the Pretenders would seem to obviously take cues from Sam Cooke's "Chain gang".
