Anita and Keith were really an attractive couple in those days. But time (and the ravages of drug abuse) waits for no one.

well in terms of the band's non-musical history, she plays a pretty big part in it.

1. She left Brian for Keith, which could've destroyed the band.
2. She had an affair with Mick while she was with Keith, which could have destroyed the band.
3. Had it not been for her, Brian wouldn't have done the soundtrack to "A Degree of Murder"
4. Mick probably would not have been in Performance, as I believe Anita was the one who was friendly with Cammell or Roeg, I forget which one.


That's just a few reasons off the top of my head why I am interested in her. I thought she was a cool chick, and her charisma is interesting to me. I also always thought that blonde, heavy black eyeliner look was pretty cool. It was never really in fashion when I became old enough to wear it, so i like to look at those old pictures. Plus I like to imagine I was in her position having three of the coolest guys in the world fighting for me. Obviously, in the 70's her appeal diminished, but that's ok, i just overlook that part.

Well, it's that Stones-special magazine "Uncut" from March.
A lot of the pictures there has been posted here (especially by Rockman), but not that Anita photo. I don't have a scanner, sorry.
