Mick Jagger and Don Knotts
Posted by: redshift ()

I'd never noticed the Jagger/Noone resemblence until Rockman brought it up on another thread. I've always thought Jagger and Don Knotts looked alike in certain expressions. Don't have a side by side to show but the resemblence is there.

I think it's an hysterical stretch (worthy of Don Knotts indeed) that the two could be compared. Don Knotts's face is too sallow. Mick's lips are bigger. Too much of a silly stretch....I don't see it at all.

There was a book a few years back called "Separated at Birth" which had side-by-side pictures of look alike celebrities. They had Don Knotts and Mick Jagger pix posted together and it was hilarious! In the selected pix they really looked alike...mainly because they were making similar expressions.

It was funny, however.

I have a bootleg somewhere where during the introductions Ronnie introduces Mick as "Don Knotts"!

this is a line from some lame comedians act back in the 80s during the height of the bash the stones/they're too old they should retire era.

its funny how much times have changed, those same people are now tripping over themselves to say how great the rolling stones are.

Don't disgrace Don Knotts like that. He was comic master. Andy Griffith Show was great stuff.

In more recent times, Keith Richards and Col. Khadafy looked as alike as Knotts and Jagger.

My parents have always talked about that! Ha! Never knew anybody else noticed it til the Voodoo Lounge Miami vhs came out and Ronnie Wood introduces Mick, "have a look, have a look, for the first time, Don Knotts...Mick Jagger".
