Is this a Stones' only concert or other performers too?
It's not listed on rollingstones.com.

It's under control of Robin Hood Foundation.
The charity of 2006.
Like the one they had in LA 2003.
And like the Joint Hard Rock shows.
RS.com might not do anything at all with this one.

Thanks for the info, but I still dunno if the Stones will be the only performers or not. Thanks in advance!

sheryl crow will be playing with them - i am sure she will sing HTW with them as she did during the '99 UK No Security tour.

i donated my $100 to robin hood but you don't get the passcode right away unfortunately. there is no further info once you donate so i had to call and am waiting to hear back...very stressful!!

the minimum is $50, though they don't tell you that on the donation page. the $250 seats are sold out too!

What price tickets are still available?

How did you end up getting the passcode?

Thanks Virgil

well sdstonesguy, its reminding me of our $ spent at shepherd bush - it will be a little cheaper for me this time though (only $500). at least this time the money is not going to the "touts"!

the email with the code arrived a couple hours after i made the donation. i got some tickets on the 1st mezzanine (at the back) for $500 each - a better deal than they state on the chart in their email that supplied the code:
______________
Please note, do not purchase these tickets if you intend to resell
them.

This event is for Robin Hood donors only; tickets cannot be used by
anyone other than the ticket buyer.

On March 14th Bank of America will present the Rolling Stones in a
private concert to benefit the Robin Hood Foundation; Sheryl Crow will
also perform. Robin Hood donors who've made contributions of $50 or
more in the past year will be invited to this event.

Ticket pricing is as follows:

* $7,500 - Granite: Prime Orchestra seats ($7,000 tax
deductible)

* Includes pre-party at Rockefeller Center

* $5,000 - Marble: Great Orchestra seats($4,500 tax deductible)

* Includes pre-party at Rockefeller Center

* $2,500 - Amber: Main Orchestra seats/1st Mezzanine ($2,200
tax
deductible)

* $1,000 - Limestone: Rear Orchestra seats/1st Mezzanine ($800
tax deductible)

* $500 - Quartz: Side Orchestra Seats/2nd Mezzanine($400 tax
deductible)

* $250 - Pyrite: 3rd Mezzanine($150 tax deductible)

Robin Hood donors will receive passcodes and a phone number to
purchase tickets. There is a limit of 6 tickets per person and each passcode is
good for one transaction only. This is a private sale and at no point
will tickets be sold to the public. Please note this is a special
event and does not take the place of the Robin Hood benefit scheduled for
June 14th.

If you are a Robin Hood donor and you have not received a passcode
please email stones@robinhood.org.

If you would like to become a Robin Hood donor, please visit
www.robinhood.org. You will receive a passcode within 48 hours of the
processing of your donation. Please note that donations to Robin Hood
cannot be applied to your ticket purchase.

Thank you.

As an accountant...watch out for that "tax deductible" part...it's not quite so. You can only deduct the amount you paid over the value of the ticket...with face values being quite high...you won't be able to deduct the whole ticket.

Is there any chance for not us citizens to get tickets?
The web form provided on Robin @#$%& the hood does not have the possibility for people outside the us to enter a country:-(

I'd die for a ticket to this event, after I've been to Krone and Stockholm Circus in 2003...

On ticketsnow they had tickets for 580 USD in the 3rd Mezzanine
But if you can only go with the prove of donation etc. I wonder how that will work.

like i said, as of yesterday, i got 1st mezzanine and there were still more available - might as well try that first if you're going to spend that much.

Some more info about this show:

* it is a private charity show for donors to robin hood charities only - no outside ticket sales, no public announcements - tickets sold on first come, first served from their own internal list of donors and those who find out about the show and make the $100 contribution on the internet - turn-around time might be as much as 48 hours from the time you make the contribution until the time you get the passcode, in some cases just a few hours. Call them if you have questions.

* the lowest price tickets ($250) are already sold out (as of March 8)

* tickets left are $500, $1000, $2500, and (!!!) $7500 each

-----

Yes. It is on. If you want to go don't sit on the fence wondering if you can afford the $100 donation. That's the entry. It's the only way to get a ticket. The nice thing is there will be plenty of real Stones fans at the show so it will probably be a great show, not just corporate money people donating.

The venue is a 6,013 seated Music Hall. Not often the Stones play a venue built for music only.

-----

This is the confirmation mail you will get when you donate, eventually:

Thank you for your interest in the Rolling Stones event to take place at Radio City on March 14. Ticket information is as follows:

· $7,500– Granite: Prime Orchestra seats ($7,000 tax deductible)

· ncludes pre-party at Rockefeller Center

· $5,000– Marble: Great Orchestra seats($4,500 tax deductible)

· Includes pre-party at Rockefeller Center

· $2,500– Amber: Main Orchestra seats/1st Mezzanine($2,200 tax deductible)

· $1,000– Limestone: Rear Orchestra seats/1st Mezzanine($800 tax deductible)

· $500– Quartz: Side Orchestra Seats/2nd Mezzanine($400 tax deductible)

· $250– Pyrite: 3rd Mezzanine($150 tax deductible)

There is a limit of six tickets per person.

Tickets go on sale today at 1-888-476-2726.

robin hood foundation got sh##loads of money from concert for nyc after 9/11.

seems to me people spending money here could do more good giving money or physical labor help to the people in biloxi and other cities hit hard by katrina and RITA ( the forgotten hurricane) instead of coughing up 25 hundred bucks to sit in a nice building and watch another stones show when they've seen a lot of them this tour.

put your money where your mouth is folks...get in there and help...don't sit and cheer for MIDNIGHT RAMBLER again...besides you'll just bitch about the freakin' setlist....

I don't feel bad about giving 50 bucks to such a good charity. It's just that it's a drag the affordable tickets are gone....$500?!? Really, folks!!! BV, with all due respect, what kind of real fans can afford tickets priced 1000 bucks and up? $500 I can almost accept....but the other price ranges?

They say don't plan on selling your tickets but how are they going to enforce it? For example, if I donated and I buy a ticket off ebay, can't they just see that I did donate something and let me in with the ticket I bought off Ebay?

What do you guys think?
