Does anyone know if the section J seats in Nashville would be good? Need advice from my fellow Stones fans. This will be our first Stones concert and any advice from those in the know will be greatly appreciated!!!

According to ticketmaster that is on the field, center of the stage between the 40 yard line and the end zone.

Hey! Newbie on these forums, lifelong Stones fan.

Anyone from Nashville have experience with Gold VIP ticket area being any good? Got nosebleed tickets for show but decided "heck with that" cuz haven't seen Stones since '81, so got back on and found Gold Vip tkts for section 114.. Seems ok on the map, but I'm coming from Alaska and have no idea what seating is like in that section of LP Field.

Gold VIP pulled up Section 235. These are Club Level seats. This photo was apparently taken from Section 235, but the photo honestly looks a little low to me, like it was taken from the level below. Anyway, the club seats are the red band in the middle. Section 235 is ~50 yard line.

My tickets actually say section 114 which seems further downfield..Not complaining (very happy to have tickets) but wondered if we'll see much, or just have to close our eyes and "listen to the music"

I'm in 114 also, and the friend who purchased my ticket for me actually went down to LP field and walked around before deciding on the tickets. He said that 114 was mid-field with the stage clearly in view and no binoculars would be needed unless you really wanted to bring some. Apparently the catwalk comes out to the 50 yard line.

I was hoping to see which ones were better and give the others away to some friends. Are you escorted in immediately after getting the Lucky Dips?

In Chicago during the last go round you got your ticket and a wristband, and then left the room. There was no 'escort'. If you had a few wigs I think you could keep going through with Lucky Dip tickets and see whether you could land a really good pair out of 10 sets. Ha!

Have reservations at the Hotel Indigo and they assured me it was an easy and safe walk to LP Field but I am reading some posts that say don't walk and wondering why? This is also our first visit to Nashville. I am asking people that know the area for their input. Drive, walk or crawl we'll see you there!

Live in TN and have made that exact walk many times. Wouldn't want to do it alone late at night but with the crowd,no worries. Just be sure to walk down to Broadway which is about 2 blocks then make your way to the pedestrian bridge and you will b on the higher traveled route

When you get to Broadway you will be on the Tennessee version of Bourbon Street LOL. maybe not quite as lax about open container though! Head toward the river and you will see LP Field from the river front. Look to your right as you are facing LP and you will see the pedestrian bridge. Lots of live music everywhere on Broadway, usually more on the country side but when McCartney was there last Year they were all rockin out the Beatles music. Its definately a great party place. And like you i dont care what it takes i'm gonna be there!!!

Oh yes pre and post party on Broadway, just across the river from LP. There is a pedestrian Bridge. About a 5 block strip of bars,pubs,restaurants anything you could want and you can't miss it, lit up like Vegas. We call it Nashvegas LOL. ALSO lots of places on 2nd ave. which crosses Broadway on the river end of Broadway. Everything stays open late, like wee hours of the morning and starts back again about breakfast time LOL. Then there is always the Famous Printers Alley, some say its not a good area, we rarely make it there but its just down the street from Hotel Indigo, toward the river. the times i have been there it seemed fine. Think it had a bad rep years back but have heard they "cleaned" it up. Welcome to Tennessee we hope you enjoy your trip!

I have stayed at that Embassy Suites, last time we were there they ran a free shuttle to downtown, dont know if they still do. We just tipped the driver. Once they get you to the heart of things on broadway you can easily walk to the stadium

Well you will be quite a ways from the main stage but really close for the set they do on the catwalk stage. Dont know how far you are back in your section but i personally would rather be closer to the main stage on a side section cause i cant see over all the people in front of me on the floor. We were near the back close to the catwalk stage for the bigger bang tour and when they were out there it was phenomenal but they werent out there for long the rest of the time not so great of a view. But thats just my personal preference. I would rather be between them and about the end of first floor section on the side than at the back of the floor BUT HEY its the Roling Stones so it will be great no matter what!!!!

When I called last week the clerk at Ticketmaster said there were 38 rows in Sec B and 30 seats in the row. I only asked about Sec B since I had tickets for that section so I'm not sure what the other sections on the field will have.

Appreciate this post kj56! I'm still trying to figure out where best to get tickets for another show and your post helps! Been a long time so for one show I'm trying for best seat possible for duration of concert.
