So me, Elmo Lewis and Latebloomer...
that makes three of us~

It's new to me, as is the Thin Lizzy cover posted. I remember trying to dig out MT stuff he played on like Gong, Oldfield's Tubular Bells, Grateful Dead and Dylan live, but don't recall the Joan Jett credits. I'm sure I've heard that song on the radio at some point too. Notable, but not noteworthy, as it were.

I've usually found the AllMusic site to be pretty accurate when looking for album credits and such. Strangely they list Micks credit on Joan Jett's 1988 Up Your Alley record as "Horn". He's also got some other credits for Flute, Tin Whistle, Engineer and Illustrations.

I agree. She's waste of time. Some of the worst garbage I ever heard in my life.

I like her noise. One of the rockingest chicks in music today. I'm also on the list of I did not know MT was on this. Like the Stones last shows his part was too small. (that's what she said).

She is more an "icon" than a great musician, IMO...

Joan Jett the lesbian icon. It would be more appealing to me if she were into guys but since she's not, no thanks. Plus I never liked her music. It was too fake for me.

Joan Jett would be worth getting a sex change for and turning lesbian, she is Latina gorgeous and she rocks.

Cheers,
SonicD

I've always pictured her being like Gina Gershon's character in that movie Bound.

I have one question as to why Mick Taylor was involved with this song in the first place:

Why?

He needed the money, his career was stalled, Joan Jett was a commercial success at the time, she talked him into it.
