Supposedly posted on David Gilmour's blog according to the Brain Damage website. If you get info let me know, Theater Antique looks like the bomb and worth a trip from the USA!

So happy he is coming to my country after 2 fantastic concerts of Roger Waters few years ago. When we can't see them together, this is also satisfying! smiling smiley

Indeed and impossible to buy on the black market since you need a photo id to gain access to the venue.

I'm really upset I missed him last time around. Unfortunately I cared more about Waters cause he was doing Floyd stuff. But by all accounts his shows were great (with Richard Wright no less) and I'd love to see him come to the US again. I'd definitely try this time around.

DG did a lot of Floyd stuff on his last solo tour back in 2006.

Yep a nice mixture of tracks in 2006 according to these reviews : [www.brain-damage.co.uk]

It seems everything is pretty much sold out, not sure that will encourage him to add dates though as he doesn't need the money and knows when to put his foot down...like he did after 1994 and I'm sure Michael Cohl must have badgered him to death!

I know. I messed up lol. At the time I was more in the mindset of "Roger Waters is the brains of Pink Floyd (actually think that was an ad I saw for one of his shows) and I thought if there was anyone from Floyd I had to see, it was him." In years since, I still feel that way, but I've warmed a lot more up to the Gilmour side. I love them both and I always have, but at the time I didn't think I needed or cared about seeing Gilmour solo, whereas I thought Waters would have been the best option to get a Floyd fix. I have since regretted that, as Live In Gdansk is great, and Gilmour played an excellent setlist and to think now I could have seen him with Wright and seen them do Echoes makes me very upset. Its why I'd catch the next tour.

In my defense, I remember he played his whole new album, which I gave an honest chance to but just didn't like very much, and that definitely factored into not feeling like I had to see him.

I've seen Waters five times and Gilmour only twice (solo in '84 and with Floyd in '94), so I'd much rather see Dave than Roger at this point. Closest he came in '06 was a four-hour drive away. If I get the chance to do a road trip like that again I might just do it.

I'm sure he'll announce a few US dates. Not many though. He says it's going to be "an old man's tour."
