Hard to narrow it down to just five. Today it's:

Let Me Down Slow
Thru and Thru
One More Shot
Jump on Top of Me
Love is Strong.

To me one song stands out, Saint of Me. They have made some decent, by numbers, rockers also like Flip the Switch, Rough Justice and Sparks Will Fly.
Add to that Keith's One More Shot (I'm one of few who likes that one) and there you have them.

Presuming plundered my soul and some girls deluxe is off limits...

Under the radar
Dangerous beauty
Saint of me
Doom & gloom
Rough justice

Actually found it quite hard to boil it down to five.
Thief, out of control, oonya, blinded by rainbows all worthy contenders.

I do. You Got Me Rocking, Love Is Strong & New Faces are good from Voodoo because the first two have a throbbing, Bill like bass lines, without the emotion Bill brought to the table. And New Faces is Lady Jane ripoff.

You Don't Have to Mean It is good from BTB, but it's more of a Keith solo cut.

Rough Justice was great, as was Doom & Gloom. That's it, the only memorable works from 1994-2013.

Well, most of the posters in this thread think otherwise...

I know what you're after, though, and you could add Mean Disposition and Flip The Switch to that throbbing list of yours. Neglecting How Can I Stop, which perhaps is their most adventurous work since CYHMK, is unfathomable to me.

It's obvious from this thread that Bill was the bas(s)is of their best work.

Going only by the studio versions:

Love Is Strong
Anybody Seen My Baby
Might as Well Get Juiced
Under the Radar
Rain Fall Down (Ashley B mix)

I think that Saint of Me, Out of Control, and Thief in the Night are way better live than studio. OOC and SOM should have been treated like warhorses since 1997. Plundered My Soul is probably my fave of the updated outtakes released.

Keep up Blues

Love to hear Bill playing on all of 'em though.

peace

Plundered My Soul is my favorite song since the Some Girls LP, minus that the top 5 that I played the most are in this order. However, in retrospect I wouldn't call these the best songs. Except for LIS, it remains my favorite.

Love Is Strong
I Go Wild
Moon Is Up
Saint Of Me
Don't Stop
