The Rolling Stones post our Kleermaker's great mix of Winter on their Facebook page

Have they ever done this before - post a bastard mix of one of their tracks? Just found it on The Stones' Facebook page. Check it out - it's here [www.facebook.com]

Kleermaker - you must feel honored. Great work fella.

It's a great idea and congratulations to Kleermaker, but sorry to say that "the edit" (is that the right word for it?) going into the Mick Taylor part is a bit too radical and soundwise differs too much from the original.
But again: Superb The Rolling Stones posted YOUR remix of Winter Kleermaker. How Do You Feel?
Maybe The Stones will use your idea to produce a new song/album with MT. Thanks!

I love it....

I rather it be in the middle of the track----Then hit with Jagger
bringing it to a close..

Mick Taylor guitar is beautiful.

GREAT JOB...Thank you.

Is it really kleerie's mix? If so, very cool that they posted it on their page!

Fantastic Kleermaker!

They should've retitled the song "Winter (I can see kleerly now, the snow is gone)"

Were the Mick Taylor solos taken from the Carla Olson version?

Not sure if I'm getting this one. Love the song but the edit around 5:13 is pretty harsh. Doesn't the vocal get cut off and the sound change radically? confused smiley

I love MT's solo but it seems strange to paste it on to the song in such a way and with no disrespect to Kleermaker I doubt this is a Stones sanctioned mix.

But it is a cool idea and I appreciate that MT solo which I'd never heard before. I'm guessing that the first part of the tune which Taylor was soloing over was not up to par, otherwise why the edit? Best of both worlds try?

peace

It is a wonderful opportunity for younger fans to hear The Stones with Mick
Taylor, it is also some mighty fine guitar work by Mick Taylor as well.

Haha, this is really funny indeed. Btw: there's a second 'edit' at 8:43 in Taylor's solo, but that one is of course not so conspicuous as the first one at 5:14. Anyway, I couldn't do it better than this and it's been done more than 4 years ago now, when I was still young!
