Seen them once at Twickenham in the FOS area and good entertainment and reasonable tix price, but Bono get's on my wick . Too full of his own self importance.

Wow, people just LOVE to hate U2 nowadays.

I'll try to go to Boston or MSG if the ticket prices aren't unreasonable.

My brother's office has seats at Rogers Arena for the Vancouver Canucks so I contacted him about tix for U2 since they can get concert tickets, too. He said they are $302 a piece! I was thinking if they were up to $200 I would definitely go but I don't think I'm going to pay that much to see them.
Saw them across the street at BC Place in 1992, the night Clinton got in as President. That was a good show.

Further to my first post, the tix are $302 plus ticketmaster fees/arena fees on top of that so that would probably put them closer to $340-350 a piece.
I"ll pass on these tickets in the hopes that the Stones come to town somewhere around the same time!

Let's face it................IORR is not a U2 fans' site, so yer gonna get some like 'em and some don't.

Most overrated band in the world......after the horrible INXS.

Last (and only) time I saw them was at the US Festival 83 in Southern California - a 3 day festival with a barrage of other bands.
They put on a decent show and I kind of liked their first two albums at the time, but I've been very happy to have never see them again since, and have no plans on doing so in the future.

Since they gave away their new album for free, they should do the same with the concert tickets for this tour.

Then they'd realize that far more people wouldn't go see them live than would.

Great news. I'm definitely going to attend both shows in Stockholm.

Wish the Stones would do back to back nights - one for hits and one for rarities, letting people pick which they would prefer.

the Zoo TV tour in 92 was as powerful a tour as I've ever seen from anyone.... Mysterious Ways...as awesome as Sympathy used to sound...similar and different in their hypnotic and powerful groove...you cannot deny the early songwriting.

Yes, that was my favourite of their tours.

I can understand not liking the band...I don't get the anger.

That's like people being mad at the stones for not liking them.

Saw them a few years ago and they were pretty good. I'm not a U2 fanboy and I'm as sick of Bono's "OMG SAVE THE WORLD SAVE AFRICA AIDS AIDS AIDS!" blather as anybody else but as a rock band they're a good show.

You want suck? Bob Dylan at the Beacon a few nights ago was suck. Never sounded this incomprehensible, played only 2 true warhorses all night. Just a waste.

I have loved every U2 show I have seen... The fans are into the entire show like no Stones show I have ever seen, just sayin'. I've seen the Stones 10 times, loved it of course, and have seen U2 4 times... I can't compare the two bands live, just very different, both excellent experiences. But the fans at U2, on their feet the whole time, singing along to everything, so much more a part of the show. I cannot imagine anyone snoring or whatever through a U2 show! I get it if you don't like their music, but U2 live is a very good time, in my own humble opinion. That said, I hope there are ticket prices cheaper than what is mentioned above... $300 per ticket... those days are over for me... Unless it is in my living room.

$50 for early access to tickets it looks like. think I'll pass
