According to BV, Stones only announce their tour plans 6-8 weeks before, so you will have to wait until early May ...

We know by now, based on all the previous festival appearances that were "leaked" in newspaper accounts but turned out to be false, not to believe such "reports", possible or otherwise. Journalists are not insiders after all.

By the way, since when has it become journalistic protocol to make news stories out of rumors? One of the first things they tell you in college journalism classes is not to report hearsay.

I agree. I was thinking maybe Fleetwood Mac might get one of the HP slots, really can't see the RS doing it AGAIN !! Might be wrong though .....

That would make sense. Not sure they'd want to do the 28th June after playing O2 previous night. Would be great though.

They're not playing Jazz Fest. From what I can figure it will be Paul McCartney.

Sir Paul is now playing Japan until April 27th - can't imagine him making it back for NOLA on May 3rd, but would love to be proven wrong.

Recording sessions - CWs luggage is not just for a couple of days.

Charlie doesn't travel too far out of Europe unless it's for something important ,like performing at a Rolling Stones gig.

Maybe a get together in NY to work out 'what comes next'.

I think it's a good sign for things to come.
