I haven't heard the new album yet, but I am really looking forward to it. I love all of Mr. Cohen's work and have nothing but deep respect for him.

like always on his later albums there are some strange productions - but I like that too

I heaven't heard this last album, but on the last couple of albums he went for rather very minimalistic approach with the backing tracks, most of the stuff was done electronicaly. Which I find strange, since he has a fantastic live band and I remember I was a bit disappointed when I heard some of the stuio tracks after I had known the live versions. Eventhough the minialistic "picture" is an intention for sure and it is Leonard's choice, I prefer the live renderings and would be happy if he used his band and especially the fantastic Webb sisters for his studio work too. Again, I am not speking about the latest record, since I heve not heard it yet.
