Satyameva Jayathe
(A. R. Rahman, Mick Jagger, Dave Stewart, Damian Marley)

Satya hai Jeevanam
Satya hai Junoon
Satya deta hai Sukoon
Satyameva Jayate, Jayate
Hey hey! Come on… alla rakha
Khul ke kaho ji mil jhul ke kaho
Satya hi rab hai vo
Tera yeh mera yeh
Nahi nahi nahi
Satya hi sab ka ek mazab ho
Wake up!
Satya ke daage se
Get up!
Dil ko jodo, hey hey!
Wake up!
Satya ke daman ko
Get up!
Yoon na chhodo
If you wanna be a winner
Make friends with the truth
Let your life be a lover
It’s a choice for you to choose
Satyameva Jayate!
Satyameva Jayate!
Satyameva Jayate!
Satyameva Jayate!
I wouldn’t tell a lie fi a dinna
Wouldn’t tell a fib just to ride in a beamer
Big gunzilla, me no like petty thief
And me no like steala
[?], the truth is a winner
Would I lie fi a stuck
When mi no like [?]
the way the victim suffer
I just wish I had a rocket
Super to the heavy fire at all pickpocket
Tell them to stop it

Satya hai Junoon
All the [?] must tell the truth
Satya deta hai Sukoon
It’s a wake-up call I hope you hear it soon
Satyameva Jayate!
Satyameva Jayate!
Satyameva Jayate!
Satyameva Jayate!
Satya hai
Satya hai
Satya hai
Satya hai
Satya hai
Satyameva Jayate!
Satyameva Jayate!
Satyameva Jayate!
Satyameva Jayate!
Satyameva Jayate!
Satyameva Jayate!
Satyameva Jayate!
Satyameva Jayate!

I love SuperHeavy. This song isn't one of my favorites on the album but I still enjoy it.

i don't think there's a weak track on this album, but if I had to pick a least fav, it might be this one - I still like it a lot, though.

One of the most dire and depressing things Jagger has been associated with.

What Hound Dog said - though I could do without the bit in the middle that sounds as if it wandered in from a Mike Oldfield album.

I understand if you don't like the music, but how is it depressing?

Depressing to hear Jagger trying so hard to be hip, when he used to just swagger with a naturalness that defined an era. Depressing to hear him on such substandard music when you know his true potential. Depressing because he put so much energy into this album while he could have been hanging with Keith and doing some writing for The Stones. But not depressing in an emotional sense, more symbolic of what was lost.

OK, I guess I understand.

My feeling on the bolded is that my expectations were certainly not for a new stones album at that moment, given how bad the relationship had deteriorated with Keith. I think we were lucky to get anything and quite frankly I really enjoyed the new material.

I didn't see it as Jagger 'trying' to be hip.

On the other hand, his song with Will.I.AM or however you spell it, the song 'The Hardest Ever', that I found ridiculous and that was 'trying' to be hip in my opinion.

Just awful stuff.

Not my favorite on SH either but an it gave me (and I suspect a few others) an opportunity to listen to that type of music.

Thinking of "Dirty Works" (the fight) or "A Bigger Bang" (the blandness of the playing and of many of the songs) is more depressing to this fan...
