Theodora has no hint of an English accent and she seems very classy

....Well she did slip in a slight English accent when she said.... "It's reeeally reeeally Dinky"

....but hasn't he been punched by Chuck on a couple of occasions over the years??

Yep + the cigarette butt...

Mercy: the Department of Historical Accuracy looks the other way for a few days and you all run wild! The way Keith told the story on the Fallon show was indeed radically different than the way he tells it in Hail Hail, but he specified that Chuck was not "on stage while his guitar was backstage" (the term 'duh!' comes to mind :E). When Chuck threw Keith off stage in 72 no punching entered into it. Ditto with the cigarette down Keith's shirt in 83.
But in any case the Fallon version of the Punch Story was a new one.
Fallon seemed way unfocussed, so it's a good thing Keith and Theo were in such fine and charming form!

Keith told that same "new" story to Planet Rock's Liz Barnes a couple of months back. In that version Chuck gave him a black eye.

with sssoul, I thought Fallon was more focused with Keith than I've seen him before, with others and with Keith.
I don't watch the man much on his talk show, admittedly. He is prone to stuttering with Keith and throwing in gratuitous comments.

Here he was ready to jump in when Keith was finished with what he was saying, while giving him room to elaborate.
The two are very, very comfortable with each other. I've not seen Keith so at ease in a TV interview before, and happy.

Great comments, everyone, I'm enjoying them greatly.

Hey, I'd pay to see that!

Celebrity kids. That drawing is very talented for a ten-year-old. Not so much for a grown woman.

I've never watched Fallon except excerpts when a Stone's been on, so I'm not comparing his state to anything,
but if that was "more focussed" then I am sorry for him. If Angee liked him, fine - she's entitled! :E

Keith and Theo were lovely and gracious and it was a joy to see them.

For those outside the US unable to view the show on nbc.com, here's the full Keith segment > [www.dailymotion.com]

I only watch Fallon when Keith is on, very very rarely on other occasions--oh, yeah,
once when Mick Taylor was on.

I did like how gave Keith a chance to shine this time around.
Rockman, thank goodness for no stunts!

withsssoul, I know, if that was focused, ye gads...:-)

Did anyone else see the funny Keith story Artie Lange told on the Tonight Show last night?

As a result of causes I watched a version of Keith's appearance with captions for the hearing-impaired.
It was very enlightening about how those captions are created - on the fly, clearly,
and good luck if you get distracted for a second! The segment when Keith was asked about his early songwriting went:
"The first song we ever wrote was 'Locked in the Kitchen' by Andrew Autumn". I was charmed! :E

Any more Keith appearances TV or otherwise before tour?

hi - it's been so good to see that Keith's out and about. Any more scheduled
appearances on TV
or otherwise (maybe to promote Gus & Me) that anyone knows of?

thanks
swiss
