How´s the view at the golden circle (TW Classic)
Posted by: Kaisan ()

I´m thinking about going to TW Classic to see the Stones. Maybe I buy a ticket for the golden circle - but I would love to know: How´s the view in the golden circle at TW Classic? Anyone with some experiences here? Can you see the artists on the stage well if you´re in the golden circle?

I would also love to read some general experiences and thoughts about TW Classic from people who were there already.

Thanks!

Sorry, I don't have any info. The TW Classic is one of the concerts I'm aiming for.

Very interested and will be keeping a close eye on this thread.

Sure. Golden Circle is just the area fos. You're close to the stage and can arrive late in that way. It depends how large it'll be.

Thanks! I think I will go to both festivals (Pinkpop and TW Classic) and some single shows - looking really forward to see Belgium again!

Been looking for some info and haven't come up with much...Roger Waters played there last summer and the "Golden Circle" was apparently a "square right in front of the stage" and only cost €90...

I was there at Werchter in 2007. As you can see on google earth the front of stage is divided in two sections. That wasn't the case in 2007. FOS was those two sections together.

In 2007 the field was a lot smaller than you see on this pick due to the concert wasn't sold out. But is was looking that the field was crowded.

Hi all.

Does anybody knows?
How can you reach the field from Bruxelles airport?
Train, bus..., is it far?

Any advice?

Thank you very much.

Thanks for the info guys. I was not able to get a golden circle ticket so I hope I can still get a good view with a general admission ticket! Will be flying in on the Sat morning (Brussels) and out on the Sunday (afternoon) so i'm just going to see what happens! Just a few questions: Is it easy to catch a train back to Brussels after the show? Should I be looking at accommodation in Brussels for that night? (or elsewhere?).

There were 3500 tickets sold for the golden circle.
This gives an indication how large it'll be.

Interesting, is that an official source ? 3500 doesn't sound like a lot?

Found this picture on another forum, sort of makes sense with the likely ramp/b-stage :

Hi petewasbristol, the last train leaves Leuven at 23.54 to Brussels.
I don't know the time of the end of the concert and first you have to go from Werchter to Leuven. A lot of people is waiting for these busses. In leuven you can find 45 hotels. Google: HOTELS LEUVEN

Tioms

Thank you tioms. I will look to stay on leaven for that night. No rush after the concert then smiling smiley

Yeah that might be less stressful than trying to rush back, "sleeping" at St Pancras for HP1 and at Heathrow for HP2 was not that great of an experience although I must say I faced no security issues ;-)

Anyway, back to the topic, so 3500 it is, doesn't sound too bad, except if you're very much to the side and front of the stage like some latecomers were in T1 at HP last summer...

I think if you are in the golden circle when the simple minds are playing, you would probably have a good spot.
Don't walk in the circle the moment the intro drums start playing.

Yeah, just had to book a hostel next to the station! No hotel for me. Never mind, it's only a cheap place to store my things and get a few hours sleep winking smiley

It's good that you mentioned it for sure smiling smiley I'm sure there are lots of people who need accommodation. Without your advice I may have been waiting a long time for a train back to Brussels after the show, so thank you!
