yeah you're right, this isn't a high quality newspaper, but the article is by Tom Zeidler, who still is one of Austria's top music journalists ... all we can do is hopeQuote

Here's another one:
According to this source VIENNA is still on their tour plan! The bidding process is not finished yet, but 4 promoters are doing their best to bring The Stones to Austria
[www].österreich.at/nachrichten/Wien-in-Planung-Die-Stones-rocken-Europa/135784616
I think it's based on a not reliable source we have seen before but still hope an Austrian date though.

Does anybody know how long they play on festivals like Pinkpop and TW Classics? As long as regular shows or less?

Pinkpop will be a regular show, its on the contract . so, maybe 2 hours or a little less. Guess the same is for Werchter. Jan smeets has said so on a Dutch TV program, de wereld draait door.
Dont have to use their own stage. (low logistic costs)Quote

Should be reliable now - Stones in Roskilde. Price, somwhere around 2,7 mio. Euro.

A proper UK stadium gig would be great.Glastonbury ,you have to get tickets months before any lineup is announced and I dread to think of the cost of the O2.
I did go to Hyde Park and we were at the front but my son got sunstroke so we had to move away so a UK stadium normal gig would be great.

crawdaddyThey are an English band and home is where the heart is.
I've always thought The Stones really love playing the U.K. and also Ireland, and I still think on the Europe leg there will be a U.K. gig or two.
Dublin will probably have one,and when they played 2 nights at The Point in Dublin September 2003 , and I was there for both shows, that was high up in my Rolling Stones highlights. ><

Seeing the European new stadium show plans I am curious about the stadium stage. Will it be completely new or Hyde Park-style or the shit Abu-Dhabi stage? What do you think?

I would love to see The Stones at RAH.
It is a fantastic venue and I've seen many gigs there including The Who,Eric Clapton,Cream , Jeff Beck, Elvis Costello and The Proms. Hope to be there for the Jeff Beck gig on May 14th.
Right by Hyde Park and the Albert Memorial, but alas, I can't see that The Stones will play there.

Italy:
The ticket alarm has been on Ticketone.it for a while now.
This just in:
Says it's Rome (Circo Massimo) 22nd July. A week before Werchter, that is. A few days before the rumored Madrid date.
If this is true and if it's also true there is only one date in Italy then the Stade de France June 13th could be on.
