Thanks! You exactly describe how I feel. I was sooo looking forward to the Auckland show and my biggest fear is, that it is cancelled. But at the same time I feel guilty about thinking that way.

I can't see Mick dancing and smiling and doing the "Yeah! Yeah! Yeah! WHOOO!" in the near future and quite frankly I wouldn't want to. Under these circumstances, what would come to mind if I were to see Mick would be "Very sorry for your loss". How is he going to sing "Miss You" (or other suddenly poignant songs)? There are times when the show doesn't have to go on. A relatively young woman whom we have been (however remotely) acquainted with for 10 years is dead by her own hand. Set list whining will have to wait a while.

Very well done. Seriously. All the way up to "setlist whining..."
The "True Fan" enforcement squad doesn't need to use tragedies to bolster orthodoxy--does it?
Apologies to the whiners.

Just an observation and no real reason to apologize. I'm not sure anyone has designated you an arbiter of proper Stones fandom...
Absolutely not. Are you an arbiter of whiners?

If he was going, he would have gone.....by now.
If the concert was cancelled, they would have said....by now.To stop people wasting time and money travelling and hotels.
The RS jet is still parked at Perth.

The ticket pages for Perth, Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne on Ticketek.com.au (official ticket seller for those shows) are now saying no tickets can be found and won't even let you select a price category (this is different to yesterday when you could select a price category and purchase tickets, if available).

These people are the Rolling Stones. They have been for over 50 years. Either way anyone criticising their decision is just not worth mentionning.
If I had to guess, I would say the show will go on Rolling Stones style.

Rubbish. The Perth show will not go on as scheduled. Nobody wants that to happen under these circumstances. Mick is reported to be on his way to New York. The Australian tour will be postponed. The promoters and Stones management are trying to figure out what to do at this point, but the decision when, or if they will play again is up to Mick.
