Jagger's tweet was at 1:28pm on Monday. As far as I know, Tuesday is still Monday's tomorrow.

Several Japanese media have commented recently on how expensive tickets are on various Internet auction sites for the upcoming Paul McCartney shows.
Sir Paul’s six-show Japan tour, including three Tokyo Dome concerts, slated for the middle of November sold out almost immediately after they went on sale in September.
The highest face price for a ticket is ¥16,500, but tickets on the Yahoo auction site are going for as high as ¥400,000.
What’s especially unnerving to some people is that these high prices have not been arrived at through the usual bidding process.
The seller is simply setting a very high price and people are paying it.

This realization has led to calls for regulation of ticket prices on auction sites.
According to one journalist writing in the Asahi Shimbun, who also happens to be a big McCartney fan (he didn’t get picked in the initial ticket lottery),
if Net auctions are not regulated then only rich people will be able to buy tickets to the most popular concerts, thus squeezing out “true fans” of the artists who are performing.
The journalist says that it’s obvious these expensive net tickets are being sold by dafuya (scalpers).

Poor people will get the dvd, and the most poor, will download it.

Stones have rarely played in Japan. Should be lots of pent up demand there which translates into big enough paydays for Mick to take the show on the road. Demand is lower in Australia-New Zealand

Until 1990, they toured the world but not played in Japan!

The rolling stones Facebook page posted early this morning (about 3am UK time) that there would be news posted this time tomorrow. I think that would confirm that the news doesn't relate to Europe or probably America either.
It would be about mid morning time in Asia / Australia so I think the gigs will be there.

I think I've bust a button on my trousers....

Right about 1973 but for the others tour like 1981-82, why they not toured in Australia or new zealand, south american at this time.
Well, it's not really important all these things. As Coluche said "Si jeune et déjaponais" "So young and..."

I'm sure there will be lots of demand in Australia - they haven't been to Perth & Adelaide since 1995 and they are always popular in my hometown of Melbourne.
I mean how many more times can they keep "shlapping" it around the USA before getting bored (no offence to our American friends)??

Bruce Springsteen has sold out multiple shows in every city for his Feb/March tour of Australia, plus people need an antidote to the awful Tony Abbott that is in charge of this great country!

So that's 2014 then..."50th and Counting", guess they can still milk it by "coasting" in Asia before having to put in some "real" work (not sure the Grrr sessions qualify but they had the 50th concept handy) to go back to the US or Europe, unless they play stadiums next summer as that will sell (at the right price like HP) regardless.

They missed Japan and Australia on the B2B/No security tour. Missed Australia also on the Steel Wheels tour.

And they haven't been to Melbourne and Sydney in 8 years, Brisbane in nearly 11 and Perth and Adelaide in almost 20.

Plus it is very unlikely they will return after this tour, and every tour here has gone down an absolute treat with the fans and press.

Demand is high!

FYI 1990 is 24 years ago. For the past 20 years the Rolling Stones have visited Japan on every word tour. Japan is a must for the Stones, just like USA and Europe. And "No Security" was not a world tour, it was a spring tour of US arena shows, simple as that. Still it happened in close connection to the 97/98 world tour. I can not see the Stones doing a world tour without Japan, Argentina, India and Australia. And some selected European countries like Germany, France and The Netherlands. These are all must-do countries.

The FAR EAST tour is 100% confirmed, Jagger himself put the sign on this week.

Australia
New Zealand
Japan
China
Singapur

Tour start in March, ALL ARENAS, dates coming in late November, early December.

You heard it here first on October 30, page 45 on the "Rumoured Rolling Stones shows 2013-2014" thread, Jagger put the sign on October 27-28 and the tour dates were arranged during the last two weeks, about 12-14 dates so far.
