My guess: Chris Martin of Coldplay (wife Gwyneth Paltrow). A "singer", he has hits on the radio, "regarded as a respectable family man", "part of a hugely successful rock band".
What prize do I win if I'm right? Gwyneth?

well the only one of "ours" it could be would be Mick and the idea of him being blackmailed over a "love child" is as likely as Bruce Springsteen being confused for a British rocker (outside of the fact that Mick's not married).

For Mick 2 million pounds would be a reasonable figure if he really would be the father, it would'n have any effect on him financially, and the same goes for Bono or Bruce, it's almost peanuts for them. And they could negotiate to 1,5 million pounds or something like that.
