I make no apologies for bumping and renaming this post, the pictures I originally posted came from this now dead torrent:

Since then the full Glastonbury concert has been posted as a DVD here:

(with thanks to coowouters)

and as a DVD9 here:

(with thanks to Rolling on)

Here's the full concert as posted on Youtube:

Sadly now removed.

You all deserve to have this concert, it's above and beyond good!

These are my original screenshots:

Darryl looks wide-eyed here, almost in shock, as if he's witnessing the ghost of Keith Richards rising up from out of his guitar....

It was filmed really well, and managed to capture the atmosphere etc. Scorsese should watch and learn after what he produced on the horrific Shine a Light.

It's true. I'm not sure why nobody can duplicate their style, but they simply capture it like no other...not even Scorcese got it right...

I completely agree and also add that this is one of the greatest Rolling Stones concerts and it blows Shine A Light completely out of the water in performance (musically!) and visual effect.

The pay per view was good, but this is right up there with one of their all time legendary shows!

Highlight of note: The way Mick sang Satisfaction in the Otis Redding style and truly giving it 1000% is sooo inspiring! Keith also was fantastic right out of the gate on JJF and I haven't seen him as energized in recent times. They were on fire!

This is a show that should be released on dvd. It's truly incredible. It's one of the best concerts I've ever seen on video and I've seen so many.

YOU ALL NEED TO SEE THIS IF YOU HAVEN'T!!!

Gotta agree with that.
If Scorsese would have been a BBC employee and came up with those whacky ideas like moving audio-angle, harsh cuts and hiring bimbos etc. - he'd be fired on the spot!
