Nothing new there, compared to other recent interviews, though...

It's a shame, would've loved to see him on stage at Hyde park.

The Hyde Park concert without Bill would be plain stupid!

He's in a different country on vacation then, at least that's what he says...

He plays there the day before, though, so maybe this is just orchestrated - and he will be there after all - crossing my fingers...

Well, thank god!
I liked him in the Stones all those years. But he left and I can't stand his bleating anymore.

Look, people ask him questions and he answers them. Then they make it the headline, or the most prominent part of the article. It's not really "bleating", or complaining. I'm sure he is genuinely happy with his life, but every single time he speaks to the media, they'll ask him about the "leaving the Stones" topic. So he comes across as though he's going on about it, when in fact his time is far more taken up with a) his family, b) his hobbies, and c) the Rhythm Kings. He's just being honest about his feelings, and the lack of communication / involvement from his former bandmates. I think us fans could surely forgive him for answering honestly when he is asked a question. He seems like a pretty reasonable fellow.

How can you get "really involved" when you don't fly?

To be honest I met him on the 76 tour and found him to be a very odd guy. Perhaps I've seen him on a bad day.I loved Keith and Ronnie. Charlie was mostly drunk.Jagger was on his own. But . . well . .

He's an all in or all out guy. They acted lackadaisical with him and he wasn't in to it. I was hoping he'd get in the studio with them to make their recorded output listenable again. Oh well, people can bitch and moan about him, but it's our loss.

Bill didn't even get a sound check.

So.. yeah.. he's rightly pissed.

Well done Mick.

Maybe Mick and Keith could hire a producer who actually could help them create a show that would raise eyebrows - in a good way. Include Wyman on all songs and let Taylor rehearse properly WITH the band for MR, BS, YCAGWYW and other songs from his live and/or studio era. Throwing in Taylor on one number, unrehearsed and Wyman on a pointless HTW was just mean.

Bill knows he'll never play with the Stones again because he overheard Mick say it to Charlie.

"That 80 year old punk ass metal detecting bassist will never play with the Rolling Stones again!".

He'll be there, working the park the next day look for loose change with the metal detector.

While he won't be playing on stage, you can't say he isn't making an 'appearance'.

He quit the band a while ago, so it is no longer his decision to make anyway.

How many more 'metal detector jokes' are they're going to be? It's like the lazy reference whenever Bill's name is brought up.

Approximately 328 if he stays out of the picture...if he rejoins them it will increase significantly...
