On Sunday 21st April the Sunday Times will publish its full annual musicians Rich List which shows that Jagger is worth £200,000,000 (yes £200 million UK pounds) and Richards is worth £185,000,000 (yes thats £185 million UK pounds).

They have given millions of people such pleasure, escape and memories over the years and have worked hard for that money, so good luck to them they fully deserve it.

However, you may wish to reflect on these figures when considering the price of current tickets and the truely historical opportunity (not yet lost if they really wanted to) to give a free concert in Hyde Park.

The Stones are greedy, that is a fact. But to be fair: People are paying the prices, and would it really be a "historical event" if they played for free? The Stones play for money (and nothing but money) nowadays. I will probably not see them again, but I have great memories.

A VERY depressing read, I'd say, for the likes of those who were celebrating Margaret Thatcher's death a few days ago.
