I wanted to do all the west coast concerts but will fail for both Staples as a lack of holidays and decent flight prices.
This is the plan, the new album excluded. that wont happen. Just a dvd-cd box of the live shows 2012,2013.

I have a feeling the US parts of the tour have always been more interesting than de European ones. Moneywise that is, because arena tours are a bigger market in the US and they might have been put down by the European stadium thing over 2006 and especially 2007.
Of course, high ticket prices will have contributed to anything but sell-out stadiums back then, with €110 tickets.
Still, if a 40.000 stadium sells 25.000 seats * €110 it grosses 2.750.000. If they had to charge an average of €60 for selling out, it would have brought in €2.400.000. So financially they will have done alright in 2007.
But this doesn't make up for the fact that in 2007 selling tickets appeared very, very hard. Remember the stages being turned 90 degrees in almost all German cities?
And there wasn't even a recession on back then.

I remember this very well, when (in Dusseldorf) I had payd 190,- EURO for 4th row, next to Keith.
The way they turned it round 90 degrees, I had to choose between 96th row Ronnie side or 4 rows away from the B-stage which turned out to be...well, uhm...I threw a Marlboro packet , and Keith grabbed it (while Jagger was moaning) and that was the funny bit. The music was about 6 seconds delayed - total chaos!!
But if you pay 190 EURO for the 4th row, it´s a bit disappointing to be pushed around without ANY refund!

From what i heard on Absolute radio interview with Mick n Keef, they are gonna return to the USA in september.
Dates in january-March in south America.
Maybe summer 2014 Europe....This is my guess.

There are strong rumours of dates in Australia. The promotor of the December concerts is the owner of the Allphones arena in Sydney so it would make sense. Maybe they will do it in combination with the south America dates.

If they would considder touring or making some stops in European cities they first have to find the promotor and 2nd the ticket prices again will be a big cry in the dark. To put already a mini tour like this on the board is more than I ever expected after the last years 5 concerts. I also think that they will see how the ticket situation works with the 85$ thing and the more expensive tickets. I think it's a very fair chance to either book and pay and you get your seat or you're excited of what you get for 85$Quote

Ik hoop het niet.
Het is mooi geweest zo.
Sinds ,, Undercover" is het niet veel meer, op enige nummers na.
Babylon en Steel Wheels waren nog goede platen. De rest meer van het zelfde.
Laten ze maar lekker met pensioen gaan en van hun enorme vermogen genieten.
Heel af en toe draai ik nog wat van ze, maar dat is nog zelden.
