Not sure if this has been posted before or not, but even if it has, it's worthy of a second post. Pure, high octane Keith!

It's good, but it's fake.

I don't think that is actually Keith, not from the Sticky Fingers version anyway, but someone playing very close to his part.

I hope you don`t believe that this is Keith who is playing...

Source could be Guitar Hero 2 who had access to the original multitrack tapes.

Maybe. Sounds great, whatever it is.

The sound is too Marshall rock guitar for it to be Keith circa 1970-1971 so even if it is from Guitar Hero it is probably a new recording by a session player or something.

I don't know, what I know if you hear isolated tracks it can sound completely different............

I have to download it and compare it with the original.............

It is different from the Sticky Fingers take sound, phrasing and note wise.

Guitar Hero 2 it is, but not original multitrack tapes.

it sounds pretty darn good - Keith or whoever is doing it.

Wasn't looking too good, but I was feeling real well.

OK, to be fair, I heard first heard this on lap top speakers. But a closer listen reveals some differences from the original. Apologies for posting a forgery....

It happens to the best of us. Excitement can take over sometimes, and isolated tracks have popped up on YouTube before so these things are possible.

You are generous in your charity andrewt...a very Canadian trait.

Not Keith. The distortion is different, as is some of the phrasing on the "help me baby" part.

Is "As made famous by the Rolling Stones" a way around saying it's not actually the Rolling Stones? Either way, it's on odd way to phrase a credit.

"FORREST GUMP
Starring this guy expressing himself like Tom Hanks"
