I'm sure it's a tour announcement,but in Chicago? Don't they normally go to New York to announce a tour? Not that it really makes a difference one way or another.

Well, since they just announced Glastonbury then one can assume that it is a tour announcement or at very least another important gig.

If they really wanted something spectacular, I suggest they don their gorilla suits, go to the top of the Empire State building, and have small planes buzz around with the tour announcement. Just a suggestion, lads.

With the current lineup, the current state of the rhythm guitarist, the pointless bass player, the unimaginative setlists, and the non-participation of Wyman & Taylor, and of course, time running out, I can't see what there is to get excited about. I noticed a real slowdown in the rest of the band in 2006 in comparison to Jagger, who is still going strong. And the PPV only confirmed this general impression. I would say the only musician who was hot among the current group was Ronnie. Look, I love the Stones. But forking over that kind of dough to hear them again doesn't start me up. I think I could be happy just waiting for a good DVD, with perhaps Wyman and Taylor as bonus features.

I saw 2 illuminated signs showing different ads every 10 seconds at the Oakland side of the Bay bridge today. The tongue logo was in the mix with two ads using the song titles Shattered and I Can't Get No Satisfaction. We tried to get a picture coming back at night but the tongue didn't appear when we were in position to take a picture. This looked awesome at night.

i fear, regarding the signs with Stones logos in the US, stating Start me Up Live, the following...

On Wednesday the announcement of ONLY USA shows, and not the UK shows. Because up till now, we have seen no such signs in London.

Or am i wrong.
