Yesterday at an award ceremony, two good friends discuss why Charlie and Bill are a superb rhythm section

That's what made so many people want to pick up an instrument and form a band--not having to be a virtuoso musician, but instead just having the feel of the music, and in the case of Wyman and Watts et al., the right chemistry to make something truly exciting and worthwhile. The wrong notes doing the right thing--that's rock n roll!

Enjoyed that, thanks for posting. I wonder if Bill will be eligible for any awards from having played the Stones O2 shows?

It would be interesting to hear Bill and Charlie talk about their collaboration as a rhythm section, but I don't think Charlie would take that conversation seriously.

Has there ever been an in depth interview with Glyn about his time with the stones?

I'd love to interview him about his time at Olympic Studios during late 60's.

You can tell with Bill over the past few years that he is quietly proud of his contribution to and his time with the Stones.

wow- Glyn Johns has really aged. Not in his looks, his demeanor.
Bill Wyman reminds me so much of my girlfriends dad, it's not even funny. Haha..

In Nick Kents first book Dark stuff is quite a long part of Glyn Johns talk - quite critical reg. some things Stones. Its more about the 70's. But I never knew where this was from.

I think I've read that before, will go back and read that section again.
