Jeez, even Charlie Watts showed up for Brian's funeral, and they all showed up for Bill's wedding to Mandy. That's a sure sign that no one in The Stones believes this marriage will last the length of a world tour.

Was his stepson Jamie there? I had read they were estranged. I just see the one photo w/Tyrone, Leah & Jesse.

I didn't know Ronnie was that close to Macca -
weird that no Stones were there.

Yeah, and they don't appear to be too thrilled in that shot.

In the picture of Ronnie hugging McCartney, Paul looks like a corpse.

Hmmm... if the Stones tour, then Ronnie could miss the marriage.

So Ronnie sold exclusive rights to his wedding to a tabloid? I guess he needs the cash...

Yes I too find it interesting Paul was best man! There isn't a lot out there about their friendship. I know Ronnie appeared with Paul live doing Get Back, but that is about the extent of what I have heard about their friendship. I know Ronnie was friends with George (even though he had an affair with George's wife, but seems like everyone did!). They did Far East Man together on Ronnie's album. But where did this budding friendship with Paul begin? Interesting.

nice to read. but... indeed strange that Keef or any other Stone were not there.
I knew Ronnie played a few gigs with MCartney, but did not know they were this close.

If you count from the top, it's the fourth one down with the 3 of them. Leah is wearing jeans and a denim shirt. You can see how much she cares about this rubbish. They shouldn't have even showed up to this nonsense.

Everything is for sale, Even bringing in papers like this to do a story. Have a Rolling Stone ever done something for free like normal people?
