On Sunday while I was making my way from the O2 to the Pilot Inn I came across this extraordinary Stonesmobile + Caravan, does anyone know that guy?

Yes i saw it too on Thursday, looks fantastic!!!

Jesus, that's a Chevrolet Corvette .... not to mention a pretty expensive looking trailer/caravan thing. Whoever it is, they ain't short of a £ or a $, the fuel bill alone for the car - what with today's petrol prices in the UK - would be enough to makes most people weep (or bankrupt them) !!

Yeah it was a sight out of Russ Meyer movie, well nearly ;-) It says "Caravette" on the back of the caravan, a custom design for Corvette's possibly?

I suppose he didn't have a ticket hence his "Please Help Me Somebody" on the window?

In any case the guy was pretty well organized since he had what looked like a "plate" in the back saying "PLEASE be patient with me as this is my first driving on the left side of the road in England". Maybe it's something you can buy on the boat?

Just the paintwork on the Corvette must cost at least one Rolling Stones ticket! The sign on the trailer is a bit disturbing though...

Fans of this caliber should be given free tickets to every Stones show. That equipage is a mobile advertisment for the band.

It was parked along the way between the O2 and the Pilot Inn. It was the only car parked there, so I thought is was part of some event or something. If a real fan, well chapeau!

The car was feature on norwegian tv news 2 weeks ago at a car fair outside of Oslo.

They can get up and go those Corvette Stingrays they come out with the big block V8.I can't see has license plate but ya would think it would have something like STONE1 or JAGGER1 on it.
To own a plate like that in NZ ya could sell it for 10's of thousands..no worries

When the Stingrays first come out they were made of fibre glass my mate along the road owns a '77 model.I still think a Stringray and Mustang going head to head the Vette would come off second best..yea
