What a mess. I'm waking up to the fact that they're over the hill. There wasn't an original sound in that song. The bass is horrible. Doom & Gloom is okay, but this is a C side.

I like it. I can see where people make the Street Fightin' Man reference with the 20-second intro. A good solid bedrock Stones song. Not the greatest they've done, but not the worst either, and certainly not an embarrassment. Now we know what Talk Is Cheap would have sounded like if Mick had sung those songs and The Stones themselves had played on them instead of The X-pensive Winos. Yes, gimme 12 or so One More Shots in 2013 and you've got Talk Is Cheap II, Stones style.
