Aha! Crossfire Hurricane will have a sequel. Not surprised. (milk, milk, milk). I see the GRRR review nailed the description of "Streets of Love".

It's a review of his gig at the Royal Albert Hall, do you still want it?

Awesome, thanks! Many great lines in those articles. More than ever, 1972 feels like such a distant and different time.

So One Last Shot is the lesser of the 2 tracks, in fact recalling possibly the worst up-tempo song (Mixed Emotions) they've ever previously done? Well, time to head for the loo....

Thanks for posting. I've got no more space for Stones magazines in my place and I wouldn't be able to bring myself to throw it away if I bought it.
So having it on here is perfect & it saved me 4 quid smiling smiley

I loved the bits about Danny Seymour btw. Didn't know he was from the Bostonian "elite". I always thought he came out of the NYC belly/gutters...

Hello everyone
Thanks for your comments about my Stones ’72 tour feature – it’s good to discover that it and the Robert Frank film is something that interests people. The first 15 minutes of Crossfire Hurricane is a revisit of parts of that footage, so I guess the Stones themselves are warming to it a bit.
I’ve been keen on this story since I did a short piece about the film for the Guardian newspaper in 2004. There’s a lot more to the film/Seymour tale, which I hope at some point to cover in greater detail. (A guy in New York, Remy Weber, has been working for some time on a Seymour film, which looks excellent from the teaser he has put online.)
I see you have scanned the feature and other Uncut content in full. Do buy a copy of the mag when you see it. It’s what we do for a living, after all – and hopefully you’ll enjoy other stuff in the mag, too.
Cheers
John

JR,
Thanks for your Stones'72 feature in the Uncut.
I always look out for the Uncut Mag and yes I bought mine and other stuff I liked was a feature of Kevin Coyne and Suicide, I went to both to see their concerts in the past and did see one of the last ones of Kevin Coyne and it's always nice to hear new music from the Mag enclosed cd.

Cheers
