glad you got to see them, how was it?

Phenomenal. It was a Stones fan's dream. The place was not particularly crowded, maybe 125 people in a room that can hold 300. During Bitch and Brown Sugar, my wife and I actually had room to dance right in front of the stage. When he played CYHMK, I stood directly in front of him. The bell of his sax, which has his name engraved on it, was no more than four feet from my face. I got my Stones fix, and I got it for $25. I don't need to see the Stones again. I'm good.

If anyone lives within a two-hour drive of any of his shows, you have to go see him. His band is one of the best I've ever seen. They will blow your mind.

I went to sneak a peak at the setlist before the show, and the "roadie" who was taping them to the floor shooed me away. "Uh uh! No way! No opening your presents early! It's better if it's a surprise! Go away!" I told him I couldn't read it anyway. It was upside down. The "roadie" turned out to be Dan! LOL

I'm bummed out I missed his show in Memphis last March.
OH well - guess I'll catch him next year - on tour - with the Stones.

I did pick up a copy of Bobby's book btw. I'll start in on it as soon as I finish the Pete Townshend book. I asked Bobby to make it out "To Nick and Marlene."
