I'm hoping this film isn't as repetitive as the number of threads here now about the film!

I'm gonna start another thread about it as well. tongue sticking out smiley That should add up to about 612 threads about the film. Man......it better live up to the hype.eye rolling smiley

That's gonna be a real popular title in New Orleans right now.

Imagine being born in it though.

It's gonna happen for someone.

I'm sure that could be happening right now in Louisiana.

Just an idea: Sure this will be released as a DVD/BluRay ... perhaps we get a "soundtrack"-cd with archive-stuff on it as well?

Long time before many here became fans there was something dangerous about the Stones. So the title for me still fits.

I totally agree with you CousinC.
I'd say that "dangerous vibe period" started in 1968 - remember that awesome JJF promo - and lasted to the mid/end seventies.
To me, beeing a Stones fan from 1964 on (was 12 then), that was the most powerful era of their whole career.

Yes, that would be perfect. Just like what Tom Petty did with Runnin Down a Dream.

i think there should be a documentary series on each Stone. Starting with Stu.

it should be on BBC and PBS, and a different filmmaker should do each one.

Why Stu? If anyone they should start with Brian of course. Keith wouldnt like that but Stu would have suggested Brian.

I would like them to show all the film that was recorded backstage 1976.

There must be lots of it....

.. you know.. where Keith is taking his "salt tablets" and "vitamins"... and "I should be so lucky..."

If they do, it would be released in the same month as a multi disc greatest hits set.

In which case, highly unlikely.

Still, you never know. Eagle Rock's last two Stones archive releases - one of which came out the same week as the Some Girls Deluxe Reissue - have contained an audio soundtrack to accompany the DVD/blu ray.

Watched it over the weekend and was blown away by the Jones era footage. The clip with the fans onstage is amazing. I got a laugh out of the girl crowding Charlie while he was trying to play, and the way Brian got mobbed and had to flee was a bit scary. The sound quality is tops. Listen to Charlie's drums on the T.A.M.I. clip. Outstanding.
