I bet there are some, well-off, Stones completists on this board who still will buy this (or whatever they put forward). With joy, probably.

Yup... and this is what I visualize... no matter how "well-off" they are.

Well, all they need is for there to be about 2,000 of those in the world and there's 2,000 x $1,500 = $3,000,000 in the bank. I bet they've done their sums and their research on this. Money for jam.

Happy to do it...thinking about getting 3 more. You think the pharmacy would like one?

So....are they going to tour behind Brussell's and LA 75? Is that the plan? Instead of a new vaults disc or a new disc, maybe they'll do what Frampton did and tour behind a tour!

They are not a band.
They are a brand.

F---ing gross. Learning about this makes me not want to give them ANOTHER DIME.
Putrid.

Shame on you, Rolling Stones, you're nothing but the McDonald's of music now.

That's exactly what the mayor of Rio said prior to the free show "the Stones are one of the biggest brands in the world just like McDonald's"

In 2012, that "special sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickle and onions on a sesame seed bun" are not special any more. A lot of people think it is particularly bad food

I seriously doubt anyone from the band pays much attention to the comments on their Facebook page, but the overwhelmingly negative reaction to them advertising this $750 box set on Facebook is pretty entertaining to read. My favorites so far: "I guess Jagger needs more money! Go make a f-cking record" and "Uh guys ---umm.. you do realize we don't have the same kinda $$$ that the boys in the band do , right???"

Are you shure Hank done it this way?
Let's go to Luckenbach, Texas.
Bob Wills is still the king.

I don't earn much money: my employment is, at best, sporadic. However, even if I were CEO of an investment bank, or a modern-day Croesus, I wouldn't spend that amount of money on this package: it reeks of bottom-line brattishness from Mick Jagger. Surely, he can see that the CD of Brussels Affair would merit some extra revenue from fans that do not download.

I download, but I do like the CD, not the CDR, with some nice liner notes, and photos. Recently, I purchased, via ITUNES, Ray Charles & Cleo Laine duetting on Porgy & Bess online, and a Ray Charles In Japan live download, but I still hold out for CDs to be reissued with these albums. I listen to music on headphones, and scrutinise the sleeve notes while listening. However, today, while cleaning my bathroom, I listened to The Animals "Before We Were So Rudely Interrupted" on CD. Prior to putting the CD into the player, I looked at the sleeve notes, and was informed that it was an Animals reunion, their first since 1966, and so I had that background, and photos from the session.

In much the same way, Brussels Affair should be reissued with liner notes, and reminiscences. It was a momentous concert, just as much as lesser rock events, i.e. The Animals reunion cited, and should be on CD.

Extremely over inflated price for an extremeley over rated gig.

I notice that they are still trying to sell those signed Exile lithographs for $2000. These things will sit around forever. They look like nice packages. I could understand an unsigned version going for $150 or so. I would pay that, especially if the vinyl is a special analog master.

there's 3 options ... $750 -- $1250 or $1500 version

I understand it costs $10 just to have them not send you one.

The unsigned box set which was at 750$ is now selling for 299$. Still only 3 vinyl inside though...

I've seen one of these in person that contained the 2 CDs along with everything else. Do you know if there are some that had the CDs while others didn't? $299 was the price I saw for this when I saw it "used" in a store.

Not having bought one myself I can't tell but I remember some people here said there were two CD's within the LP's jacket.
