I've reluctantly agreed to allow my wife to set up a Facebook page for me. So far I have 1 friend; my wife. You're welcome to click on it, just don't expect me to "friend" you, or "like" you, or whatever it is people do on Facebook. I kinda like the idea of having the world's most pathetic Facebook page, with only a single "follower", and extremely infrequent, mostly nonsensical updates. I think it would be funny.

I just posted a photo of a rubber ducky on my Facebook wall. Check back every 6 months or so for further updates.

FB can be fun but is ultimately a waste of time unless you belong to a group that is dedicated to discussing certain topics such as music. A bit like this forum...

I like Pinterest better just for that reason. You can follow people who likes

I know some people here hate FB,in all honesty l don't know why,but my experience in FB has been very pleasant, I have been requanted with old friends,have made new ones,and get to share music,pictures,stories with people of similar tastes,you choose who u want to be your friends and with whom to communicate,as a matter of fact some of our better known posters here are in F.B.So in my case,Facebook is great...

Good to see things can change here on IORR... it wasnt that long ago that I simply said something like "does anyone here look at twitter" and the response was "somewhat unfriendly".... and twitter is not like Face book, it does not force you to "sign up to see". Twitter is viewable and usable without having to sign up... I was just trying to inform... and it got rude here.

I have a "real life", I just find FB useful for staying connected with friends and family who aren't in town, promoting my bands' shows, following other bands I like, a lot of practical things. Don't know why it ellicits such negative, bitchy responses. Oh yeah, because virtually everything on here does sooner or later.

No, but before I lost 50 pounds, I used to get told I looked like Michael Moore, which is not exactly a compliment, but it was true, especially when I wore a baseball cap.

A friend set-up a Facebook account for mea few years ago. I'm glad he did so, bit I have never fully embraced it. I rare add others and do updates. Despite still being under 30, I dont consider myself to be of the 'Facebook Generation' Generally speaking, when you look at those who have a grotesquely large amount of followers, theyre inevitably a teenager. There are, of course, plenty of exceptions.

Facebook = Family only.
