any hints?
any clues in the stars?
any estimated release date? when did the last (Tokyo) one come out?

The last one only came out less than 6 weeks ago (10 July).

Havent heard anything re: the next one.

They DID mix the 2005 Toronto club show for release in the spring, but whether theyve chosen to put it out later in the series or scrapped it completely I don't know at present.

Maybe they noticed the underwhelming reaction to the possible release of the 2005 Toronto show on this board. And since we were taken totally by surprise by the Tokyo release, my guess is we won't know anything until the next one drops. And all speculation is just jerkin' off.

What, exactly, does this have to do with fine rare cheese?

It wasnt that underwhelming at all and I seriously doubt one thread on one message board is going to warrant a release being shelved.

I just put this out on a different thread, but it makes more sense here so I'll just repost it...my view, just speculation of course...

sad to say, but speculation is less fun given that they're already chosen. Nothing we say or do will influence the choices for the releases.

Given that, it seems to me that the only era not covered so far is the Brian Jones era, so I'd love to see one representing those days. Then I think they'd want something later than 1990; but given that that was the template for the past twenty years or so it limits their options. So, perhaps the last two will be a compilation of a few shows from the Brian era; and a "double release" of El Macombo and the Light The Fuze show. That means they're really covered their career by adding to all these recent releases:

1969-71: Ya-yas re-release with extra tracks
1972/73 - Brussels Affair
1975/76 - LA Friday
1978 - Fort Worth release
1981- Hampton
1989/90 - Tokyo Dome

not to mention all the live albums released over the years...

As a special surprise the next release will be a re-release of Ted Nugent's Intensity in 10 cities.

I always thought that was an absolutely fantastic name for a live album

there was so much talk about him recently on here and when they visited the site, they decided it would be a good choice.

I would think Leeds would still be up there. It's a well known boot and covers a slightly different era. The songs aren't all that varied, but the band sounds different, especially the version of Satisfaction.

How strange that we still don't have a live Mick Taylor version of Rocks Off on boot or DVD.

Is there any such thing as a soundboard version from the Jones era? I thought it wasn't until 1969 that Jagger said he could even hear the band behind him. I think it would take some technical wizardry to produce a half way decent Jones era boot.

Following the following trend :
- LA Friday = Love You Live
- Hampton 81 = Still Life
- Tokyo Dome = Flashpoint

I'd bet Paradiso 1995 (= Stripped) for the next one and Toronto 2005 for the last one.

Aren't there quite a few from Paradisio on Stripped? It would be a bit awkward to present the songs without the overdubs. I know they did it with Hampton (LSTNT and the ending there comes to mind).

Well, it would have been a welcomed addition for me anyway!
