DVD Questions-Marquee 1971 and British TV

Hello all,
A friend of mine claims that there is a comprehensive DVD that contains many of the Stones appearances on shows like Top of the Pops, Thank Your Lucky Stars, etc.
A DVD sort of like the Ed Sullivan compliation....Does such a DVD(s) exist? If so, what is (are) their titles?

She also stated that there are 2-3 DVDs of the Marquee show in 1971. I went online and saw cover art for what appeared to be booted DVDs.

Is there a well filmed/recorded DVD(s) of this as well? If so, please let me know what the best one is.

I looked in the usual places and saw none for sale.

Thanks!

This might be what you're thinking of:

Sadly, the mighty UrbanSteel's links are now dead.

Yeah, I bought that very thing at a Flea Market a year or two ago. Watched the NME performances on July 12th.

Bootleg DVDs only...

The Stones should seriously release these old shows like the Marquee Club '71. They'd sell. Aren't The Stones interested in making money anymore?

Or maybe the BBC holds the copyright for the TOTP shows? Same with Ready Steady Go...

You are kidding right? I dont think they care really about what their fans want..they throw us a bone with these newly officially released live shows that most of us already have.

I rather doubt that MJ would tour again with the Stones were it no for the $$.
just my humbley jaded opine

Not kidding only dreaming...

Shame fans have to go down the road of bootlegging stuff that should be officially released.

Through The Past Darkly: Sucking In The 60's (Apocalypse Sound AS153)

This appears to be an "official" silver factory-pressed bootleg (if that makes sense)

Is there any excuse for The Stones not officially releasing the following shows:

LA Forum - 7/11/1975

Les Abattoirs, Paris - 6/4/1976

Knebworth House - 8/21/1976

Capital Center Arena, Largo - 5/5/1979

etc.

All great quality, pro-shot and complete (?).

There are shitloads of videos like those in their archives. Those just happen to be a few that have been bootlegged.

The 'only excuse' is that they havent got round to doing so yet. Considering how few archive releases we got until about 2-3 years ago (basically Rock n Roll Circus and thats about it), theyve put quite a few video and audio releases from the past in that time.
