A hitherto-unknown Elvis track has just come to light - a fine version of I Forgot To Remember To Forget, probably recorded from TV broadcast of Louisiana Hayride,1st Oct.'55.

New Elvis Track

Thanks to dennyelvis on Guitars101 for the link.

Track, with a bit more info, also available here:

Eack Mtakf is quite underrated.

I have an un-heard master tape of Elvis with Dewey Cox.
It's an unreleased album called "The King & Cox".

Sadly I have no way of playing it.

He sounds like Buddy Holly on that song.

Sounds interesting, and sounds as if it could be worth money to you. Be careful the tape doesn't decay before you hear it.

You should check out Dewey Cox's memoir. He recalls an incidence when he and Elvis (along with Buddy Holly) shared a bill. Elvis was already pretty big. He was supposed to go on last, but according to Dewey Cox, Elvis was hungry so he went on first. When Cox complained to Elvis about getting the fans all riled up. Elvis apparently whipped some karate moves on him and pulled a switchblade on him. Funny stuff.

Sounds unlikely, as its common knowledge that Elvis didnt take up karate until after he joined the army.

Still, now we know where Keith got the idea of showing people the blade.
