Looks like I'll be digging out Sweet Tea tonight: it's one of my favourite ever albums in any genre.

My favorite Buddy Guy album as well! I 've seen Buddy 8 times and was blown away everytime. No one captures an audience like him. The man is a legend and an international treasure. Long live the great one!

Buddy shows that you can be as good, if not better, when you're 76 as when you were 26. If you take care of yourself and have the fortune not to go down with sickness.

In mid July this year my buddy and I sent to Chicago and to Legends. We got there around 11pm and there was a small line to get in. No one big playing that night, a local act (who were pretty good), so we were a bit surprised. As we got closer to the door I notice Buddy Guy is at the counter and signing stuff for folks! Great! So we get up there and I buy his latest CD and he signs it for me and I said to him.."Man what a rip off Keith didn't really give you that guitar from Shine a Light." Buddy smiles and says, "I got it! I finally got it! It's over there!" and on the walls of his club are tons of singned guitars, and low and behold, there is the guitar Keith gave him from the movie. Buddy Guy is one of those blues gentlemen that is an Americna treasure. A man of class and talent. Happy B'day Buddy!

Ive seen Buddy a number of times as well. Met him twice. Really nice man. My ex wife is from New Orleans so they chatted..........I never got a word in either time!

His new book is worth reading. Like KR , he has a great way of speaking.

A truly great, and original talent. A real link to Jimi Hendrix. And he's still great.
