I think he would be a great addition, as he feels like the spiritual heir to Ian Stewart.

They can keep Chuck...but they should "chuck" the keyboard and replace it with a real piano. That'd be a huge help.

I have nothing against Chuck but a giving him a real piano additionally to his keyboards would be a very good idea.

Ben Waters' solo album is very nice so having him on the tour would be very nice as well.

But do they really need 2 keyboard players? And if they would replace Chuck with Ben, would he be able to lead the band in the same way as Stu and Chuck did when he is effectively the new guy?

That must have been a hard task for Chuck as well back in 89.

Might sound pretty good (and there are 2 piano players here):

I feel like I'm the spiritual heir to Dick Taylor. Maybe they should consider me for the job as bassist? spinning smiley sticking its tongue out

Chuck and Ben need to settle this with Rock, Paper, Scissors.
Its the only rational way

Ian McLagan should be the first consideration. In fact, he should have been there all along.

Jagger, Richards, Wyman, Wood, Taylor, Watts + Ben Waters + Bobby Keys should be the line-up. No additional musicians.
