Can anybody tell me more about the occasion that gave the world this bootleg?

Nothing happend that day as far as I know of. But on the 11th Jagger, The Faces and Billy Preston jam together in LA.

None of their sleeve info is right. All songs come from this gig:

from www.nzentgraf.de
740714A 14th July: RON WOOD & BAND. London, Kilburn Gaumont State Theatre
(Intro [instrumental]/Am I Grooving You/Cancel Everything/If You Gotta Make
A Fool Of Somebody/Mystifies Me/Take A Look At The Guy/Act Together/
Shirley [with Monkey Man]/Forever/Sure The One You Need/I Can’t Stand
The Rain/Crotch Music/I Can Feel The Fire)
Line-up: RW (gtr, voc)/Keith Richards (gtr, voc, p)/Ian McLagan (p, org)/
Willie Weeks (bass)/Andy Newmark (dr)/Rod Stewart (voc, tamb)
Notes: KR plays piano on ‘Act Together’, Rod Stewart shares lead vocals on
'If You Gotta Make A Fool Of Somebody', 'Mystifies Me' and 'Take A
Look At The Guy'.
The whole show was filmed and professionally released in 2007 (see
071022A). The opening instrumental is a variation of 'Crotch Music'.

Thanks for the attempt to answer my question, but this recording is definitely NOT the
final Faces gig you refer to. I've looked on Nico's site too, but couldn't find anything
on march 1975. I think the line up is rather remarkable, as seen on the artwork. With
both Charlie and Kenney playing, three keyboard players and also Bill Wyman. It is some
kind of Faces/Stones mix up, if the artwork is to be trusted, but is it true that Nicky
Hopkins is playing here? Not Ian Mclagan?

Questions, questions, questions...

It's not a Faces show. It's Ronnie's first solo show as Neddie noted above. It's also now commercially available as THE FIRST BARBARIANS as a CD/DVD package from Wooden Records. You should be able to find it on iTunes if nothing else.

Maybe you´re confused with this crap cover and the Faces show from December 23rd,1974 at Kilburn, Keith played a couple of songs with them...

741223A 23rd December: THE FACES. London, Kilburn State Gaumont Theatre. Incl.
- Sweet Little Rock’n Roller (Chuck Berry)
- I’d Rather Go Blind (Bill Foster/Ellington Jordan)
- Twistin’ The Night Away (Sam Cooke)
Line-up: KR (gtr)/RW( gtr, bvoc)/Rod Stewart (voc)/Ian McLagan (keyb)/
Tetsu Yamauchi (bass)/Kenney Jones (dr)

I don´t know this record but it should be the First Barbarians show ,July 14th 1974 at Kilburn,as Neddie Flanders and Rocky Dijon mentioned above.

This boot exists for decades now (since mid-eighties). There were times you could buy it in every record shop.
According to Dieter Hoffmann`s Schwarzbuch this is the Ronnie Wood Band Live in London, 13. / 14. july 1974. Taken from tv-recordings in very good mono.
Hope it helps.
