Been looking at Somerset House in London's website and found this page about music gigs. Today, Thursday, July 12, 2012 there will be no public tours as they are hosting the Stones press event as many of you know.

I think it is curious that the Stones are there today to launch the gallery opening of the photo exhibit, the place also hosts music concerts in the summer and the Stones have been rehearsing in London, according to Keith Richards on the BBC.

Could be a few songs played today...

That's what I've been thinking too.

Rarely will the Stones play in public without rehearsing for more than they have been, but here's hoping...

A cover-up? I don't know what to think really. Could be they play a song or two and then the nights regular show goes on as planned.

Seems like Somerset House might already have the room and equipment to help with a little performance for the press.

Just a thought, but when does the press event happen today?

It must suck big time having to perform for the press only. They just sit there with their pencils and notepads judging the whole thing. If they're going to play a song or two, play somewhere public and not in a room full of media w-a-n-kers.
