sounds like poison or some crummy 80s hairband to me. the lyrics, well i didn't bother trying to decipher them, because i know they are stupid; you know that only a 13-year-old metalhead could find worth in. I wonder if kiss would have ever got popular if they had a differnt agent and record producer man who made them dress in tight jogging shorts and sing songs about dandelions, instead. probably not, but maybe.

Kiss have always been a bunch of cartoon characters/action figures to me anyways. Growing up in the Hannah-Barbera Era. I've never had expectations of any kind for them. A few of there songs are guilty pleasures (Detriot Rock City, God of THunder).

As for this, it sounds like... KISS. (shrug)
What else should we expect?

Sorry people but KISS rocks.Obviously their stuff from the 70's is the best. Yes the Stones are far and away the greatest band ever but most people who hate KISS never listened to them. "Alive" was a great album cover to cover. "Rock and roll over" was killer. KISS used to rock in the 70's. Straight up rock and roll as good as anything that was out at the time. I don't like new KISS and don"t like what simmons has done to the band. People say KISS sucks but then listen to yellow submarine. Please.

not really. sounds pretty heavily overdubbed. the only 'real' musician was frehley and perhaps criss, anyway. the thing that brings this muck to life are the frehely solos, which are memorable

Good song. I have not seen the credits, but I would assume from the first listen of the guitar riff that it's something they did not write. Not their style.

This is fun. To those who mocked KISS, you missed the point.

Nothing wrong with Kiss - they do what they do and they do it well. Sure, it's a different (ie: more dumb-arse) kind of rock n' roll to the Stones etc, but if someone's enthusiastic about the new song, then why not put it up here... Those two dudes have written some fine tunes from time to time (eg "Comin' Home as posted above) - this one isn't anything special, good high-energy riffing though. And Paul Stanley still sounds all right in the studio, if not live ha ha!

I spend years listening to Kiss, we all agree in the "circus stupid thing" of this band, but I still think Kiss Alive! is a great album. Kiss Alive II is a fake, recorded in a studio. Ace Frehley did some great solos, particullary Shock me and others of that years. Try not to look at videos, but to listen.

A band with bad lyrics, ridiculous image, not in the first row, but not as bad as many bands around. I pick their first album, Kiss Alive, and some tracke here and there.

I have spent thousands of dollars the last 15 years on KISS and their music...every album on both vinyl and CD, concert tickets and merchandies...to my son, he's been a fan since he was 5 years old and heard 'I was made for lovin you', so what does he thinks of this new single?
