I have no opinion on it, other than the whole 'women scorned' thing will eventually get you, especially when served up with 'revenge a dish best served cold'.

I have to confess that I started (but did not finish - got distracted) reading LIFE, and I take your point. BUT one very minor differentiating factor is surely that Mr K Richards is IN the band and co-wrote one or two songs here n' there over the years, and Ms Jo Wood ... ?? Now please remind me once again precisely what her pivotal role in the Rolling Stones 50 year story was, apart from partly ensuring that RW kept his s**t together in a fashion ??

Maybe you should wait with your judgement until the book is out. Besides, it´s always fascinating to hear a woman´s view on our little spoiled heroes.
Like I said, I can only hope that what she has to say IS genuinely interesting, insightful, and not just bland tittle tattle. We can all get enough bland tittle tattle through a weekly subscription to HELLO magazine, should we choose to do so.
All things being equal, if the cover looks interesting and the reviews give it fair comment, I may well end up buying it and reading it anyway.

I have no opinion on it, other than the whole 'women scorned' thing will eventually get you, especially when served up with 'revenge a dish best served cold'.
Ronnie did a bit of an evisceration job on her, and while I wouldn't cheer her on, I completely understand the motivation.
And from the part I've bolded, I see that you have in fact, read LIFE.
I have to confess that I started (but did not finish - got distracted) reading LIFE, and I take your point. BUT one very minor differentiating factor is surely that Mr K Richards is IN the band and co-wrote one or two songs here n' there over the years, and Ms Jo Wood ... ?? Now please remind me once again precisely what her pivotal role in the Rolling Stones 50 year story was, apart from partly ensuring that RW kept his s**t together in a fashion ??
I'll let you read it and then you can just fill me in on the gruesome details .........
I vote we have one person on the board read it, I vote StonedStreetKidsRuleInLondon, and that person relay to us the gory details in a new, make that several new threads, and then we can sit and argue over it like we always do.
It would be an efficient use of time, doncha think?!

On the other hand, Toker, I'm sure Ronnie was no day at the beach to live with PLUS JO earned her own money most of the time she was married to Ronnie. Why is it OK for him to get away totally free, cheating as he wished, and not expect some renumeration?? I don't think cheaters should get a free ride!

Yeah, well Kate wasn't married to the SOB for 20 odd years and she would have blown her career if her attachment to Mr. Tracy had become public. Why shouldn't Jo write a book?
