Just think, if John Lennon had seen the word "No" when climbing the ladder that day at the art gallery in '66 instead of the word "Yes", he never would have married Yoko Ono, and he even once stated as such in a subsequent interview. Then the Beatles never would have broken up, and Lennon would likely not have been in New York that night in December '80, and the Beatles would have played on until 2000 by which time cancer would have been catching up with George... Yoko, Oh No!

And if the band had been called No instead of Yes, Steve Howe and Rick Wakeman would've been put off by the negativity and wouldn't have joined, thus saving the world from Roundabout and keeping prog rock as a cult thing for kids who want to feel superior because they took many years of piano lessons.

The Beatles would have broken up for sure, even without Yoko. They were all getting sick of it and Yoko was just an excuse. Who knows what would have happened, without Yoko John could have succumbed to a heroine overdose in the late sixties. Or drank himself to death with Harry Nilsson in the 70s.

"no" is an answer.

The question is "will you be buying tickets to see the Spice Girls".
