Charlie is on now playing with his Boogie Woogie band, looking like the sophisticated English gentleman that he is...nice boogie Woogie music if that is your thing. Didn't see any interview at all, unless it was in the very beginning of the show, missed the beginning of the show even though it's recorded because of a long special weather statement in my area.

A bore like Jimmy Fallon can't even take a minute to interview Charlie Watts?

I'm going Sunday night - can't wait! How was the crowd? Did Charlie stick around and chat afterwards? Were cameras allowed? And, most importantly, how did they sound?

Sorry for the barrage of questions!

I did it on DVR. I think it's a motorola. If anyone knows how to get it from there, to my computer, I'd be happy to.

My impression is that Jimmy worships Charlie, would love to have interviewed him, but that an interview was not in the cards for Jimmy, as per Charlie's directive.

good show, they make a big announcment about "no cameras" but everyone was taking pics.

As he left the stage he shook hands with many who reached out to him, but he had another show to do afterwards; maybe if you are at the late show he'd hang out longer, but I doubt it...its charlie, not much of a talker. Not even one spoken word from him during the show.

nonetheless a fun night!

I'd say after seeing this show, and the clips of Mick at the White House, plus last year's grammys and with Ronny playing pretty regularly to good reviews, it seems pretty clear that they are all in shape to tour. So it appears to me that it is up to Keith and his fingers...

Somehow, prolly would have seemed out of place if Charlie had bounded on the stage, grabbed the mike, and belted, "Awwwwright New Yawk Citay! HOW Y'ALL Feelin' TONIGHT?!"

Excellent photos schillid! wow. He looks so much happier playing with those cats than with the Stones. Boogie woogie piano never ceases to grab me by the guts and shake real hard. peace

Charlie looks good, however boogie-woogie: isn't that something for the museums in 2012?

And it's strange that he doesn't interview Charlie. That would have been the only news-worthy material. Maybe Charlie refused?

Thanks for posting . Charlie can be seen from 37.00 onwards on Fallon. Ben Waters is really missing! Don't know who is sitting in here for him.

So it's the A?C&D Of Boogie Woogie now???

The day before Waters was still on stage with them (at 0.40) and his next day's susbtitute temporarily sat in (at 0.42, playing four handed with Axel Zwingenberger).

I can also make out Lila Ammons singing with them at the end of this clip from Lincoln Center:

That was sweet. The band geling beautifully, reaching a wonderful peak near the end and of course Charlie applying all the restraint in the world by not going off the rails. Pure control.
