Hey hold it! I love it. Part of the "real Stones era". The worst song has to be from 1989-2012. My choice: Rock and a hard place. FOllowed by Highwire.
Lots of folks in this forum do not like Rock and a Hard Place. I like the song and understand why others don't. But you have to admit this song is played with conviction. the lyric "Fields of freedom are filled with trash" hits home with me.

I don't see any love for "My Girl." I like this version and it fits nicely on Flowers. It accents the feel of the album. I read where Van Morrison's Brown Eyed Girl is the most played song on radio in history. I would expect that My Girl (Temps) is up there as well.
tie me kangaroo down sport is prolly up there down there

What's your opinion of "Flowers" in general?

we have a beautiful wildflower season here in central texas.
as to the stones record, i like the ultra-cheesey album cover alot. and some of the songs are okay. it's just a hodge-podge of leftover tracks from uk records that didn't get put on the cheap-o 12-track us album versions, of course. as to "my girl" - i'll take the tempts or even mamas/papas versions over the stones' anyday. jagger just doesn't have the pipes for stuff like that....

That one is hard to beat, no second time, but my response was to be 'he figuratively vomited'.

It's partially the way Jagger grunt-screams the words. The bridge is fantastic, the rest of it blows.

It shouldn't be included in a concert setlist - but shouldn't be labeled a "bad song" either. That's all I'm saying.

Had he been in an unfortunate accident, it's also possible for him to have disfiguratively vomited.

Well if you have to "call in sick" to work then it is a very disturbing song that causes health risks!

Had he of had several applications and uses for any additional playings/listenings of the said awful bad track he would have configuratively vomited.

If You Can't Rock Me symbolizes the beginning of the creative weakness with lack of any redeeming melodic touches in rock and roll songs. The song sucks.
